Dr Dawkins’s main private practice is at Cleveland Clinic London at 33 Grosvenor Place in Belgravia, and at the Nuffield Health The Manor Hospital in Oxford. He also holds occasional clinics at the Cleveland Clinic London outpatient centres on Portland Place and at Moorgate. His NHS practice is at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where he is Clinical Lead for Structural Intervention.

Cleveland Clinic London — 33 Grosvenor Place

33 Grosvenor Place, London SW1X 7HY

The main Cleveland Clinic London hospital, in Belgravia. The great majority of Dr Dawkins’s outpatient clinics — and all of his procedures — are carried out here. Cleveland Clinic London is a 184-bed hospital with three cardiac catheterisation laboratories, a 29-bed intensive care unit, and full cardiac imaging (CT, MRI, echocardiography).

Getting there

  • Tube: Hyde Park Corner (Piccadilly line) — 10 min walk; Victoria (Victoria, Circle, District lines, also National Rail) — 5 min walk
  • Bus: Routes 38, 52, 73 and 137 stop on Grosvenor Place
  • Parking: Q-Park Park Lane (5 min walk); valet parking available at the hospital entrance; on-street parking is very limited

Nuffield Health The Manor Hospital — Oxford

Beech Road, Headington, Oxford OX3 7RP

The largest hospital in the Nuffield Health group, with an extensive cardiology programme. Dr Dawkins holds regular outpatient clinics here, usually on a Wednesday or Thursday, in the Cardiology Department on the ground floor.

Getting there

  • National Rail: Oxford station — about 3 miles by taxi or bus
  • Bus: The U1 bus links central Oxford and Oxford Brookes with Headington (alight at Manor Hospital)
  • Parking: Free on-site car park beneath the main hospital building; usually easy to find a space

John Radcliffe Hospital — Oxford (NHS)

Dr Dawkins’s NHS hospital, where he is Clinical Lead for Structural Intervention and runs the NHS structural and interventional cardiology programme. NHS patients only — private patients in Oxford are seen at the Manor Hospital.

  • Bus: U1, 13, 14, 700, 800 — frequent services from central Oxford
  • Parking: Multi-storey car park on site (paid); spaces fill quickly during clinic hours, allow extra time
